A classic of Hanbalite literature: This is the explanation of 'Umdat al-Fiqh by Ibn Qudama al-Maqdissi by one of his eminent students, Baha ad-Din Abderrahman ibn Ibrahim al-Maqdissi.
This explanation is consistent with the author of Matn because as a student, Baha ad-Din understood better than anyone the words contained in al-Umdah.
His Sharh is not diluted in the internal differences of Madhhab or other schools, but rather it conforms to the Matn of Ibn Qudamah and the evidence of the subjects treated.
